December saw the ROUGH DISKO Djing/gymnastic team display aerobics both on the floor and behind the decks. The wonk levels were jacked up to 98 with help from South London’s finest purveyers of crunking electronics dragged straight from the gutter, ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD. Props to those mothers for bringing some proper plastik to the chaos…

After spazzing it up domestic style over the NY, February sees us back on the nightime road and welcoming our compadres C90 to the bash. Cut from a similarly demented electronic bent as ourselves, these mothers started holding parties for the same reasons we got embroiled. Cos Steel City night’s can be tuff when no other fun freaks are licking the same pole as you, you mother…

They’ve put on parties with a wide array of guests - Digital Mystikz, DJ Scotch Egg, Boombip, Fog, Rob Hall, Maga Bo, Neil Landstrumm - from such a sparkling array of musical madness you can imagine what sort of sickness they’ll be bringing - all manner of batty bass from dubstep, minimal, bleep to glitched up grime and beats.

Couple that with the Rough Disko team (cut to JIMPOTENT, GAG REFLEX and THE LONDON WICKER since BOB FUNKHOUSE’s sad departure to the smoke), purveyors of electro, house, bassline, house, techno, ghetto tech and booty shaking business and you’ve got a twisted meeting of night-time beams, two crews willing to push each other over the edge into bass fuelled chaos…. Bring on the bass…
